Producing plywood for the local and regional markets in East Africa with a focus on using sustainable plantation materials, specifically eucalyptus and pine.
At TPL we work to build a better future for the company, for our employees and for the consumer, with a focus on quality, respect and professionalism for each other and the environment.
The Chain of Custody (CoC) certification is how the FSC verifies that forest-based materials produced under their standards are credibly used from the forest, through to the finished product.
The FSC label therefore signals that the materials used during the production of our plywood have met the CoC requirements at every step of the supply chain from sourcing to distribution.
Our commitment to sourcing from responsibly managed forests means that our plywood is not only high-quality, but also sustainable.
This certification ensures that our forests are managed to protect and preserve biodiversity, safeguarding natural ecosystems for future generations.
We prioritize our workers' safety and well-being by providing fair wages, safe working conditions, and opportunities for growth and development.
TPL employs 200 full time workers with a male to female ratio of 50%. Of the 200 employees, over 90% are youth.
